Banking transactions keep getting improved as GTB begins social media banking on facebook

 

Isn't this just cool people? One of the most efficient and most loved bank in Nigerian and other parts of the world has decided to make banking transactions even easier than how we have it now. The bank is upgrading its social banking offering on Facebook to accommodate instant GT Bank account opening. 

Prospective customers can now open accounts and immediately get their account numbers while on Facebook, without having to visit any GT bank branch. According to the managing director/ CEO of GT bank, Mr. Segun Agbaje, all people have to do while on Facebook is fill the account opening form, upload their passport photograph and signature mandate and immediately get their account number.

Customers can also make account balance enquiries, perform money transfers and purchase airtime in real time.

GT bank says it remains the leading Nigerian financial services provider in the social media space with over 1.3 million followers on Facebook alone, the largest following for any Nigerian company.
