TINA Turner has branded marriage “a wonderful place to be” after walking down the aisle in this green silk and black lace dress adorned with Swarovski crystals.

The music legend, 73, tied the knot with second husband Erwin Bach at a private ceremony at her estate in Switzerland.

Tina, who accessorised her Armani gown with leggings and strappy heels, told Hello! Magazine: “It’s that happiness that people talk about, when you wish for nothing, when you can finally take a deep breath and say, ‘Everything is good.’ It’s a wonderful place to be.”

The singer married German music producer Bach in a ceremony at her Algonquin home on the shore of Lake Zurich in Kuesnacht, Switzerland.

Among the 120 guests at the bash were Oprah Winfrey and Brian – and while Tina decided against the traditional white wedding dress, all the female guests chose the colour for their gowns.

The What’s Love Got To Do With It singer also revealed how she found her frock for the occasion – after seeing it on a catwalk in Beijing, China.

She said: “I thought, ‘I gotta have that, even if I never wear it.’ Then I thought, ‘I know, that will be my wedding dress.’”

Tina and her new husband, who have been together for 27 years after meeting at Heathrow Airport, jetted to Italy for their honeymoon.

Meanwhile, there was a security cordon erected around her property during the couple's big day as onlookers crowded in to catch a glimpse of proceedings.

But police spokeswoman Esther Suber insisted the roped off zone was "not because Tina Turner wants this but to avoid many boats" crowding near the manor
