It's one of the biggest mainstream festivals of the year, and it's
kicked off with a bang! V Festival - held simultaneously at two venues
in the UK (Weston Park in Staffordshire and Hylands Park in Essex) -
started on Saturday, with hundreds of thousands of music fans dusting
off their wellies and getting out their tents to enjoy a weekend of
top-notch music, grubby festival food and (probably) mud.
As well
as the headliners Beyoncé and Kings Of Leon, this year sees the likes
of The Saturdays, The Script, Stereophonics, Jessie J and Olly Murs hit
the various stages at both venues to wow the crowds as the summer of
British music draws to a close.
The Saturdays were one of the
acts to perform at the Virgin Media Stage at Weston Park on, er,
Saturday, minus band member Frankie Sandford, who is currently heavily
pregnant with her first child.
