Fire has razed the popular Kara market situated in the Isheri area along the Lagos-Ibadan expressway, Ogun state in Nigeria’s south west region.
According to reports from Channels Television, a similar incident happened April 3rd (night) where an annex of the market which deals on provision, food stuffs, soft drinks, tailoring, cement and spare parts was gutted by fire as many traders counted their losses which ran into millions of naira.
The Ogun state government had earlier explained to the traders that they will be relocated to a more suitable environment which will be situated at Arepo village in Ifo local government area of the state.
