The Destiny's Child star is escorted back to shore after the private craft she rented for whale-watching got into trouble. She was among a group of passengers who had to be rescued from a private boat after the vessel got lost at sea.
The R&B star was on board a rented boat that was following a
commercial-whale watching vessel when the captain lost sight of the boat
in front and became disorientated. The Coast Guard was alerted and a commercial towboat operator sent to escort the private vessel back to shore. Rowland and her fellow passengers were taken to Provincetown, at the tip of Cape Cod, in Massachusetts.
