The Model African Mother Symposium was held yesterday at Afe-babalola hall, University of Lagos Nigeria. The event was focused on the typical African mother, how she can re-invent herself to be a role model to her children and women around the world. The event was very educating, life-changing and enlightening. The symposium was also directed towards bringing change to the nation through empowerment, learning and understanding the African root, rebranding African culture, fashion businesses and lifestyle. Amongst the notable guest speakers were Tonye Cole (CEO,Sahara Group), Prof. Adenike Grange (CEO, Sisi Oge), Mrs Folashade Ogunaike (Representative of Lagos State Governor), Mrs Yemi Osoba, Mrs Nike ( CEO, Nike Art Gallery and President, Fashion Association of Nigeria).
