The Edo State Police Command have paraded 36 criminals
arrested within the last two months for various crimes ranging from
kidnapping, cultism, rape, armed robbery, murder and unlawful possession
firearms across the state.
Among those paraded are suspected cultists involved in the recent cult clashes in the state. Addressing journalists in Benin City, the Headquarters of the state
command, the Police Commissioner, Foluso Adebanjo said that the command
is committed towards sincere and effective policing to ensure the
security of residents of Edo State.
The command says all suspects would be charged to court soon as it intensifies its efforts to apprehend all fleeing suspects.
